Hi – I’m Rob.
Before We Open is something I’m starting on my own: a series of films about British makers in the hours before the public arrives. Capturing the moments we don’t normally get to see.
There’s no presenter, no interviews, no music.
Each film is one location, one morning, told in the order it happened. Anything that needs explaining will appear as a line of text on screen.
Everything else is the sound, feeling and bustle of the room.
There’s nothing filmed just yet, but I’m working on it.
